On Saturday evening, December 28th, 2019, V. Rev. Fr. Levon Yeghiayan and V. Rev. Fr. Oshin Tchvalertanian presented their theses to His Holiness Aram I and defended them in the presence of the members of the Cilician Brothers, at the Main Hall of the Catholicosate.
On Sunday, December 29th, 2019, under the auspices of the Catholicos, during the Divine Liturgy at St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral, the two candidates were elevated to the rank of Vartabed by H.G. Bishop Shahe Panossian.
At the end of the ceremony, the Celebrant priest led the newly ordained Vartabeds to His Holinessā office, where they received Ā the Catholicosā blessings.
