Vahagn Atabekyan, the ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Lebanon, visits His Holiness Aram I, in his summer residence in Bikfaya.

The visit was an opportunity to evaluate the Pan-Armenian Conference on Armenian Media and Press, which took place the previous week. They both emphasized that the significance of the conference lied in its all-Armenian scope and in its realistic approach to the issues.     

The Catholicos stressed the importance of the freedom of press and of critical, realist and proper analysis of subjects, as well as refraining from disinformation. His Holiness also shed light on the importance of continuing the process initiated during the conference in participation of media representatives of Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora.
