On Wednesday, June 5^th, His Holiness Aram I received Mireille Aoun, daughter and one of the senior advisors of President Michel Aoun, in Bikfaya. Present at the meeting was also Souren Vartanian, a benefactor of the Catholicosate of Cilicia. During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in Lebanon and its economic and social challenges.

Later the day, His Holiness received cardiologist and writer Dr. Nabil Naaman, who had recently published his book on the Armenian Genocide. They talked about the Armenian Genocide recognition advocacy.
