In anticipation to the first ever Taizé Youth Gathering in Lebanon (March 22-26), the organizers (MECC and the Churches in Lebanon) are holding monthly Ecumenical Prayers. 

The Ecumenical prayer of February was hosted on Friday, February 22nd, 2019, by the Armenian Orthodox Church, in St Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral, Antelias. Hundreds of youth of various denominations from all over lebanon gathered and prayed with the local clergy and the Taizé brothers who were present.

At the end of the service, they proceeded to the Armenian Genocide Memorial Chapel, where the final prayers were offered, through the intercession of the martyrs of the Genocide.

The prayer was organized by the Ecumenical Relations Department.
