On Saturday, January 26th, 2019, His Holiness Aram I received Garo Paylan, the Armenian deputy of the Turkish Parliament. Paylan was accompanied by Alexan Keoshgerian, member of the Central Committee of the Social-Democrat Hunchakian Party, and Mardig Jamgochian, the chairperson of the Lebanon Regional Committee of the same party.

During the meeting, among others, they discussed issues pertaining the Armenian-Turkish relations, Armenian Genocide cause, historical Seat of the Catholicosate in Sis, and exchanged their perspectives.

Following this, V. Rev. Bedros Manuelian gave Garo Paylan a tour of the Catholicosate.
