On Tuesday, January 15th, 2019, His Holiness Aram I received a delegation from the Middle East Council of Churches, composed of the General Secretary Dr. Souraya Bechealany and member of the executive committee Dr. Jean Salmanian, as well as directors from various MECC departments.

The delegation briefed His Holiness on their recent projects in economical, administrative, theological and social fields. In turn, Aram I gave his thoughts on them and once again stressed the importance of churchs’ participation and support to MECC works.  

At the end, Dr. Bachealany presented the Catholicos with a souvenir as a token of appreciation.
