Last night His Holiness Aram I received in his office Dr. Faisal Bin Muaammar together with a high-ranking delegation representing the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID).

The discussion between Catholicos Aram I and the General Secretary of KAICIID focused mainly on issues pertaining to the actual estate of Christian-Muslim dialogue and the activities of KAICIID. The discussion of two leaders also included the initiatives that KAICIID plans to take, aimed at strengthening the collaboration between Christian-Muslim religious leaders in the region. His Holiness emphasized the urgent need of promoting tolerance and mutual understanding among living faiths. Dr. Faisal, in his term, warmly thanked His Holiness for his active support to the initiatives and projects of KAICIID.
