21 October 2015. On Wednesday evening His Holiness visited St. Garabed Church in Fix for canonical prayers, accompanied by the Prelate, Archbishop Khoren Toghramadjian, and Very Rev. Housig Mardirossian, the Ecumenical Officer. The members of the Church Committees and the community welcomed the Catholicos at the entrance and accompanied him to the Church.

At the end of the Service, the Archbishop welcomed His Holiness and invited him to speak. His Holiness spoke of the vocation of the Armenian Church as the link that connects the people to the faith of their ancestors and the memory of their martyrs. To ensure the continuity, the Catholicos encouraged the youth to become more active in the life of the church and the community. He then transmitted the positive comments of the President of Greece regarding the response of the Armenian community to the current Greek crisis and encouraged them to continue with the same determination.

The gathering ended after His Holiness greeted the people individually and   blessed them.
