On Friday 8 May 2015, Messrs Toufic Baakline, President and Senior Advisor Andrew Dorani of the Coalition met with His Holiness Aram I. Catholicos Aram I thanked them for their advocacy on behalf of Christians in the Middle East and for their recent statement on the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Mr Baakline then informed Catholicos Aram I of plans to organize an international conference in Lebanon on the theme of Christian presence in the Middle East.

During the day His Holiness Aram I also received the prelates and members of the Executive Committee of the Eastern and Western Dioceses of the Catholicosate of Cilicia; he thanked them for their efforts

His Holiness met with the representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, Mr Hagop Der Khatchadourian, and representatives of the Armenian National Committee, who briefed him of their work.

The Catholicos also continued to monitor the progress of the lawsuit filed with the Constitutional Court of Turkey demanding the return of the Centre in Sis.
