23 April 2015. His Holiness Aram I has gone to Armenia to join His Holiness Karekin II in bestowing sainthood on the martyrs of the 1915 Armenian Genocide. He left early this morning on a privately chartered plane, accompanied by several archbishops and bishops and priests of the brotherhood.

His Holiness Aram I will return this evening in order to anoint the newly renovated martyr’s chapel in Antelias, celebrate the commemorative liturgy outdoors and transmit his message tomorrow on 24 April.
