Catholicos Aram I sent a letter to King Salman through the kind offices of the Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, in which he praised the late King Abdullah Abdul Aziz’s contribution to his country, to interfaith relations and to Lebanon.

His Holiness had already congratulated King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and expressed his good wishes through Bishop Shahé Panossian, who went to Saudi Arabia as a member of the official Lebanese delegation, representing the Armenian community in Lebanon.
